Kasárna Karlín is a former military barracks in Prague's Karlín district, now a multi-purpose cultural and leisure venue. The large inner courtyard hosts a bar with generous outdoor seating, best enjoyed in warm weather, alongside a summer cinema with a big screen, beach volleyball court, and exhibition spaces in the surrounding buildings. There is a fire pit outside and a playground for children. The venue hosts live music events and concerts. Early afternoon brings a quieter, family-friendly atmosphere; from around 6pm onwards the place fills with people having drinks after work or attending events.
The space is primarily outdoors and experiential rather than a dedicated work environment. Reviews do not mention Wi-Fi, power outlets, or suitability for laptop work.
