Hostal Ràdio is a budget hostel in Barcelona's Ciutat Vella, steps from the Ramblas and near metro access. The small building sits on a busy narrow street with cafes and markets nearby. Rooms are clean and simply furnished, with free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Noise is a significant issue: thin walls carry sound between rooms, and street noise continues through most nights, not just weekends, as people gather loudly outside.
The hostel's elevator and stairs are very narrow, which guests note may be uncomfortable for larger people. It offers basic facilities and a communal lobby area, but little is known about its suitability for working.
